4 Faith Goals We Are Believing For
It was a powerful and exciting week of prayer and fasting as our largest prayer gatherings in recent years celebrated being back in 414. Many were filled with the Spirit, received gifts of tongues, prophecy, and healing, and significant answers to prayer. The presence of God was so strong, even unbelievers who came to the prayer meetings were drawn to Him.
This year, let’s ask that God would be the wind beneath our wings and the water in our well, and that He would bless us with:
That we might grow to know God better and share His love in a way that transforms sinners and saints. So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). Luke 19
That we would have more than enough to finish the work at 414 and accomplish every other work God gives us.
Exodus 36:5 – And they spoke to Moses, saying, “The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.”
Wherever there is healthy life and intimate relationships, reproduction happens. Believers will reproduce more believers, disciples – more disciples, leaders – more leaders, congregations – more congregation, ministers – more ministers.
In Genesis 1:28 God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it;”
That we would have unity of vision, synergy in our labors, and powerful community and camaraderie that would draw others to Christ.
“”Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” – Philippians 2:1-4
The scriptures say, “Ask, and it will be given to you”, “whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive”, and “If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it”. What all these verses have in common is that we must ask in prayer in order to get answers to prayer.
We invite you to join us in making 2017 the year of answered prayers. We gather for prayer every Friday night, 7-8pm at 414 and before every service at every site. We’ve started the year off great, let’s keep fanning the fires of prayer!
