God, Mental Health, and Wellness in NYC
Attend a New York City Town Hall on the intersection of mental health, faith and culture on Thursday, May 23, at 7:00 PM. Hosted by Dr. Nii Addy from the Yale School of Medicine and our own Pastor Ron Lewis, this event will include a conversation with Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Lecrae, Doug Middleton of the New York Jets and Dream the Impossible Mental Health Initiative , and Vicky Sigworth from the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
This event will includes a second panel discussion with New York City and national mental health experts, practitioners and cultural experts. The panel will feature Dr. Jeff Gardere(aka Dr. Jeff, Touro College), Dr. Simon Rego (Albert Einstein College of Medicine), Dr. Barbara Lowe (Greenleaf Psychological and Support Services), Dr. Warren Kinghorn (Duke University), and Dr. Adam Thomason (award-winning filmmaker and author, Kilns College). Moderated by Dr. Myra Mathis (Yale University). With special musical guests, Juan and Lisa Winans.
